Head of Data Science

We're seeking an experienced Head of Data to lead our clients data team in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and enhance user experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of search, recommendation, and user profiling systems that provide personalized content suggestions to our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of data scientists and engineers to design, develop, and deploy data models and algorithms that drive search, recommendation, and user profiling capabilities
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to define product requirements and develop data-driven solutions that meet business needs
• Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines to support real-time data processing and analytics
• Design and implement A/B testing frameworks to measure the effectiveness of data-driven products and features
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of data models with product applications
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and machine learning
• Develop and manage data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance

Requirements:

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in data science or machine learning, with a focus on search, recommendation, or user profiling
• Proven track record of leading high-performing data teams and delivering data-driven products
• Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, data modeling, and data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop)
• Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker)
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
