The Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement plans to drive growth and profitability within the motor insurance division
• Streamline processes to ensure efficiency, top-notch service quality, and compliance with regulations
• Maintain underwriting guidelines and risk assessment protocols for robust underwriting practices
• Manage a team of motor underwriters and distributor support staff, fostering a culture of high performance
• Work closely with various teams to deliver exceptional service to customers and distributors
• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to expand market reach and advance the motor insurance business
• Keep abreast of market trends and regulatory changes to adjust strategies accordingly

The Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in motor and commercial motor underwriting
• Strong leadership and management abilities
• Hands-on approach skills
• Thorough understanding of the Singapore insurance market and its regulatory framework
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Demonstrated track record of driving business growth and profitability
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
