Head of Operations (Corporate Bank)

We are currently partnering with a leading European Bank who have a strong regional presence and rapid growth plans in Singapore.

They are looking to hire a Head of Operations with responsibility for their APAC Operations teams, covering Settlements, Loan Operations and Trade Finance, as well as owning and driving all projects and change mandates for Operations in the region.

This role will be responsible for supporting the following:

• Oversee all 3 teams in Singapore (Settlements, Loan Administration and Trade Finance) + functional oversight of the Operations teams in the region
• Day to day, hands on management of the Settlements team
• Manage all BAU and Change Mandates / Projects impacting Operations in Asia Pacific
• Manage Treasury transactions processing (including FX/MM, Securities, Derivatives, IRS)
• Manage incoming and outgoing payments
• Manage reconciliation of transaction data between Front and Back Office system
• Review static data maintenance in Back Office system
• Review management and statistical reports
• Support ad-hoc tasks that impacts Asia Pacific Operations
• Drive continuous improvement and Operational Excellence
• Coach and develop all team-members within the Asia Pacific Operations teams

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience of which minimum 5 years of management in Treasury Settlements in a Wholesale Banking environment.
• Experience in Trade Finance Operations or Loan Administration is a must
• Experience in KYC/Client Onboarding, Payments, SWIFT, Trade Reporting is a plus
