We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Procurement to lead our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement with a proven track record of successfully managing procurement processes, contract negotiation to ensure compliance, mitigate risks and driving cost savings.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance and support to ensure KPIs are met.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, contract requirements, and ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor market trends and vendors performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to foster long-term partnerships and drive continuous improvement in all processes.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and competitive pricing for materials and services.
- Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract management best practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the engineering/manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
