Head of Supply Chain Finance (Banking)

A finance company is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to head its Supply Chain Financing unit based in Singapore. This position will lead a small team of executives and reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.

The Head of Supply Chain Financing will be responsible for leading and expanding the organization’s supply chain financing business and develop new market solutions for company’s growth.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall supply chain financing strategy to achieve company’s annual targets.
• Identify new market opportunities, ecosystems partnerships, and develop digital innovations to scale team’s portfolio.
• Drive origination of Supply Chain Financing deals with anchors, suppliers, and distributors.
• Cultivate relationship with Corporates and Fintech partners, financial institutions, banks, and regulators.
• Manage the risk and governance within the company’s risk framework.
• Monitor market trends and work with Product team for innovative product design or enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, banking and finance, or a related field.
• 12+ years in trade finance, corporate banking, or supply chain financing, with at least 5 years as team leader.
• Proven track record of originating and structuring Supply Chain Financing.
• Strong business acumen, adept at identifying and leveraging emerging market trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
• Knowledge of Trade Finance instruments, working capital management, and digital supply chain platforms.
