Head of Treasury - Professional Development Opportunities

Leadership and Strategic Treasury Management

• Oversee the full spectrum of treasury functions of the group’s businesses.
• Implement treasury marketing and organize the issuance of wealth management products; Supervise wealth management business promotion and development to achieve earning targets of financial products.
• Support subordinates to deal with treasury business and liquidity requirements to increase branch revenue.
• Approve reference and declaration prices of exchange rate and interest rate for internal use and for clients.
• Establish comprehensive internal controls and corporate governance practices
• Implementation of transfer pricing between related companies
• Implement processes to improve treasury functions, payments, and disbursements.
• Ensure the implementation of an efficient set-up for the follow-up of Inspection and other recommendations, as well as significant risk mitigation actions
• Monitor and analyse historical incidents and related control plan
• Provide leadership, direction, and management to the teams.

Asset & Liability Management (ALM)

• Strengthen the Permanent Control Framework of Asset & Liability Management (ALM) Treasury in the Asia Pacific as per Global business policy and guidelines
• Performing the operational risk assessment of Asset & Liability Management (ALM) Treasury Asia Pacific per Global Asset & Liability Management (ALM)Treasury Other Project Costs policy and requirements
• Verify the formal evidence of controls reported based on self-assessment of the potential risk areas and upon request from Asset & Liability Management (ALM) Treasury Management
• Participate/coordinate Targeted amortization class (TAC) / Net Advertising Circulation (NAC) / Investor Advisory Committee (IAC) for Asset & Liability Management (ALM) Treasury

Cash Flow and Analyst

• Analyse financial information and provide strategic recommendations to the Board, Head of Finance, and Senior Management Members
• Cash flow reports, cost analysis, and annual budgets to support the business decision-making
• Contribute to the implementation of an efficient procedure framework and a homogeneous control setup in all geographies in the Asia Pacific
• Collect and analyze market information and trends and help organize the new business for expanding the scope of business.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking or a related field
• At least 10 years of working experience (multi-type dealing experience is preferable) in treasury business with qualification of Financial Markets Regulatory Practices (FMRP) exam in Singapore
• Singapore Capital Markets & Financial Advisory Service (CMFAS) qualifications correspond to financial products and services under the wealth management business. Risk awareness and high ethical standards
• General knowledge of the operational risks arising from Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) activities.
• Tact and ability to interact with staff and management at all levels in order to achieve mutually acceptable resolution of incidents
• Require determination to succeed in the implementation of processes in the face of some reluctant parties
