HNW Insurance Broker Consultant North Asia

We are seeking an experienced HNW Insurance Broker Consultant to advise and manage insurance solutions for High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra-HNW clients across North Asia. The role requires strong expertise in complex insurance planning, cross-border client servicing, and relationship management within the Asian HNW segment.

• Advise HNW and UHNW clients on tailored insurance solutions, including life, wealth, legacy, and estate planning structures
• Act as a trusted consultant to North Asian clients, understanding cultural, regulatory, and cross-border considerations
• Structure and place complex insurance policies with global and regional insurers
• Manage end-to-end client engagement: needs analysis, proposal, placement, servicing, and renewals
• Collaborate with private bankers, family offices, tax advisors, and legal professionals
• Ensure full compliance with local and cross-border regulatory requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with insurers, underwriters, and product providers
• Stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and product developments in North Asia

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline
• Proven experience in insurance broking, private wealth, or advisory roles
• Strong knowledge of HNW insurance products (e.g., whole life, universal life, ILPs, legacy planning solutions)
• Client-facing experience with North Asian HNW individuals or families
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Experience covering North Asia markets (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan)
• Familiarity with offshore insurance structures and cross-border planning
• Relevant professional licenses or certifications (e.g., insurance advisory licenses, CFP, ChFC)

• Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
• Cultural sensitivity and understanding of North Asian client expectations
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity
• Detail-oriented with strong risk and compliance awareness
