Housekeeping Supervisor - Fast Hire

Job Description 

• Carry out guest room inspection adhere with Housekeeping’s SOPs. To ensure standards of guest room cleanliness is maintained at all the times. 
• Prepare daily guest room assignment for Room Attendants.
• Supervise Housekeeping Room Attendants and other ground staff to ensure Housekeeping operation is running smoothly and SOPs are followed up throughout. 
• Lead, guide and provide on-the-job training to Housekeeping Room Attendants and other ground staff.
• Respond effectively to hotel guests’ requests, enquiries and feedback according to Hotel and Housekeeping Policy and Procedures. Resolve guests’ problems and complaints when possible. Ensure guests’ satisfaction is maintained at all the times. 
• Communicate and liaise actively with Hotel other departments with regards of room defects, room allocation and other operation issues.
• Monitor Housekeeping manning on daily basis based on hotel daily occupancy, in order to maximizing staff productivity and minimizing unnecessary operating costs. 
• Discipline and counsel Housekeeping staff who is against hotel and housekeeping rules and regulations.
• Manage Housekeeping stock control and ordering system to ensure availability of stock and cost control to maintain costs to a minimum. 
• Conduct Housekeeping daily briefing to make sure any instruction and information from management will be flowed down and followed up by ground staff.
• Supervise and guide Housekeeping Attendants to ensure cleanliness in guest floors, pantries and hotel other premises is well maintained at all the times. 
• Participate in Housekeeping regular inventories.
