The ideal candidate is a reliable professional who has experience as an HR Generalist. He/She must have basic knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and is updated on latest employment market trends, such as changes in employment quota, minimum wages etc. He/she must also ensure that the company’s HR policy is adhered to across all departments and be the point of contact for all internal as well as external HR-related enquiries.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement, maintain, and review HR Policies and Procedures for relevancy and constant improvement.
• Understand and implement fair employment practices in compliance with industry regulations.
• Coordinate and manage the orientation of new employees. process probationary reviews, employee evaluations and terminations.
• Assist in managing performance management exercises and processing manpower requisitions, compensation and benefits.
• Process and follow-up with appointments, reassignments, promotions and other HR decisions in a timely and thorough way, being empathetic to the human dimensions involved and tailoring actions accordingly.
• Process monthly payroll, CPF, and IRAS submissions
• Monitor staff confirmation and maintain accurate HR database with up-to-date employee records
• Manage foreign worker insurance, process government related claims such as NS, maternity etc.
• Assist in collaborative works with other departments to improve overall operations and maximise current capabilities.
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for management review (eg. attendance, turnover etc)
• Attend to employees grievances and complaints, providing guidance where necessary.
