Job Description - HR Manager


HR Manager 

Location: Raffles city, Singapore

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this position include:


 


Recruitment:



  • ASEAN recruitment support, coordination and processing

  • Coordination and identification of recruitment resources

  • Hiring process lead including insuring ad creation, interview team selection, interviewing skills, candidate/resume screen, phone pre-screen, reference checks, information validation, employment agreement draft


 


HR Administration/Operations:



  • Induction, intake and separations processing

  • Insure compliant employee records/files creation & maintenance

  • Handbook, employee contract/agreements development & maintenance

  • Internal communication of HR directives

  • Process development and documentation


 


Employee Relations:



  • Local & Regional HR Policies and Procedures development, implementation, education and enforcement

  • Regional and local EOS preparation & participation

  • Partnering on HR initiatives on an education and advisory capacity

  • Employee counseling & education

  • Initiation & creation employee supplementary activities

  • Grievances/Mediation


 


Learning & Education:



  • Coaching and mentoring of staff and management in HR issues

  • Education program/skill sharing program development including process documentation and training materials

  • Performance management tools & education


 


Compensation & Benefits:



  • Annual increment process

  • Benefit and incentive program management


 


HRIS & Metrics Reporting:



  • ASEAN/AP database maintenance and reporting to local and regional stakeholders

  • Local and regional  HR intranet content management

  • Local administration of leave allocations systems, intake/departure systems, education participation tracking, resume database

  • Contribution to regional weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, and establishment of active HR reporting at the local level


Qualifications:

  • Individuals with 5-8 years experience as a HR Generalist, preferably within an MNC environment

  • Minimum Degree in HRM, Psychology, Economics, Political Science or Post Graduate Diploma in HRM, or equivalent

  • Solid understanding of Asia Pacific employment legislation, trends and best practices an added advantage

  • Written and verbal fluency in English & Mandarin preferred

  • Familiarity with MS Office

  • Applicants should be Singapore citizens or hold relevant residence status.
