Our client is a well-established multinational organization operating in the infrastructure, energy, and industrial services sector, with a strong regional presence and a large operational workforce across multiple sites. We are hiring an HR Operations Lead to be deployed on Site, on one of their major projects in Singapore.
Onboarding & Employment Administration
Support recruitment operational activities such as candidate sourcing, coordination, and interview arrangements.
Manage end-to-end onboarding processes, including contract issuance, document verification, medical examination coordination, work pass processing, system setup, and logistics.
Manage operational support for NonâTraditional Source (NTS) workforce, including coordination of travel and accommodation where applicable.
Probation, Contracts & Exits
Manage probation confirmation processes in partnership with line managers.
Monitor fixed-term contracts and manage renewals in compliance with local legislation.
Ensure effective and compliant offboarding processes, including statutory notifications and work pass updates.
HR Data & Reporting
Maintain accuracy, integrity, and governance of HR data across systems, including HRIS and related platforms.
Produce timely HR reporting, metrics, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
Participate in HRIS enhancement projects, automation initiatives, and process optimization activities.
Support internal and external HR audits.
Employee Engagement & Site Support
Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned work sites.
Advise line managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
Conduct site engagement activities, including regular visits and on-site support for employee interaction.
Manage and support employee relations matters, including disciplinary cases, performance improvement plans, cessation, retirement, and employee communications, while liaising with unions where applicable.
Support workforce mobilization and demobilization activities for assigned sites, including deployment coordination, onboarding, transfers, and exits.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
At least 6 years of experience across the full spectrum of HR operations.
Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
Ability to understand operational site issues, workforce risks, and business practices.
Able to independently manage assigned business sites and HR projects.
Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
