Your new role
This is a hands-on HR / Senior Manager role with broad responsibility across HR, office setup, and administration, ideal for someone who enjoys building infrastructure and policies from zero. You will lead the end-to-end setup of the local office and people operations, including policies, processes, vendors, and workplace standards. Working closely with senior leadership and HR counterparts in various regions, you will ensure alignment with global HR frameworks while adapting to local requirements. The role requires regular engagement with China-based stakeholders, supporting communication, workforce needs, and business coordination. You will also manage office administration, including facilities, contracts, and employee services, ensuring a professional and well-run working environment. Travel is required, depending on business needs, including visits to headquarters and regional stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
Comfortable operating in a startup environment: adaptable, pragmatic, and willing to be hands-on. Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across cultures and time zones. Willingness to travel internationally as the business scales. Highly organised, discreet, and able to handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
