HSE Coordinator

This position is for PaxOcean Group, a company under Kuok (Singapore) Limited.

Working Location: We will be relocating to 5 Jalan Samulun in November 2025 (nearest MRT: Boon Lay)

Position Summary

• Prepare and arrange all relevant HSE logistics i.e., fire box, Coordination tag boards etc. prior to vessel arrival and secure all HSE related items upon completion of refit.

• To carry out atmospheric gas checks for all the confined spaces as per mandatory requirement.

• To ensure the readiness of emergency related equipment’s onboard the vessel.

• To carry out regular inspections for all work activities onboard the vessel

• To ensure all requirements as indicated within Permit to work system are complied with.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Daily checks onboard assigned vessel and surrounding work locations to enforce on mandatory and in-house requirements.

• Participate and engage workforce in promoting safe work practices, accident & fire prevention program.

• To participate in emergency situation by performing  firefighting, rescue of personnel & pollution control

• Possess at least a NITEC/ Higher NITEC in related engineering courses.

• Preferably with relevant experience in the ship building and ship repairing industry.

• Relevant experience in emergency response and firefighting.
