Job Description - Hub Manager

Our client is a global incubator, accelerator and innovation center for tech startups and major companies. Almost 4 years after its launch, they are launching a new office in Singapore and we are partnering them to look for a Hub Manager in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Opening of the office

Ensure the best integration of the Singapore office in its new ecosystem. Coordinate closely the refurbishment of the office to successfully deliver project on time, within budget and with the intended quality and design.

Management

Help build a team and manage the Singapore hub, covering all facets of management

In charge and responsible for driving key performance indicators of the company and growth of a talented team

Work with HQ teams to launch and optimize the activity on a daily basis partnerships for corporate partners interested with startups and technologies in overseas markets

Ensure program and events are organized and ran successfully

Strategic Partnerships

Support the closing/onboarding of new corporate members

High level corporate partner strategic management - ensure clients are satisfied and delighted with a high level of service

Attract and work with mentors, investors, government entities and other industry players to grow the companyâs network and startup community

Maintain relationships with community and media partners aimed at extending the companyâs outreach

Build and maintain strong and positive relationships with media, incubators and accelerators, investors, corporations, universities and other strategic partners to promote and develop the companyâs strategies

Startups

Take the lead in building and developing scouting network to source for the best startups locally and internationally for the program

Identify high potential startups and be involved with selection, and onboarding.

Mentor startups during and after the program and manage portfolio of startups to help with business growth and fundraising opportunities

Maintain strong working relationships with venture capital networks, corporate partner internal stakeholders to promote and develop the supported startups.

Requirements

Minimum 10-yearsâ experience, including at least 7 years in the startup, venture capital, Premium accelerator, in a best-in-class tech company or related industry

Past experience as co-founder of a tech startup in Asia.

Strong network in the Asia tech startups ecosystem to growth the company's awareness.

Passionate about working with startups.

You have an entrepreneurial vision, excellent business sense, knowledge of the large companies processes & negotiations skills.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate with C-Suite executives

Communication skills, and ability to create team from scratch.

Comfortable with leading a team in a fast-paced environment

Detail oriented, highly organized, able to multitask
