Overview of the role:
The Human Resource Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a positive working environment, managing employee performance, and developing talent within the organization. You will be responsible for implementing HR strategies that support both in-office and remote teams, ensuring compliance with local laws, and contributing to the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations Management:
- Foster a positive working environment by addressing employee grievances, resolving conflicts, and promoting effective communication across all levels.
- Performance Management:
- Develop and oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring that employee evaluations are fair, constructive, and aligned with company goals. Implement performance improvement plans where necessary.
- Training and Development:
- Develop and manage training programs to enhance employee skills and career development. Ensure that training needs are assessed regularly and relevant learning opportunities are provided.
- HR Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Singaporean labor laws and regulations. Ensure all employees are informed and understand these policies.
- Compensation and Benefits Administration:
- Manage the company’s compensation structure and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance. Regularly review and update salary benchmarks and benefit packages.
- Employee Engagement and Retention:
- Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention, including recognizing and rewarding high performers and implementing initiatives to improve job satisfaction.
- HR Metrics and Analytics:
- Track, analyze, and report on HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Remote Workforce Management:
- Implement and manage systems and processes to support remote employees, ensuring they are integrated into the company culture and have access to necessary resources and support.
- HR Technology and Systems:
- Leverage HR information systems (HRIS) and other technology tools to automate processes, enhance data accuracy, and provide self-service options for employees.
- HR Business Partnering:
- Act as a strategic partner to senior management, providing HR expertise and insights to support business strategy and objectives. Align HR initiatives with the company’s strategic goals.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience
- Strong understanding of employment law, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and employee engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and lead diverse teams.
