Responsibilities

• Deliver ICT/Smart Buildings projects as independent work package or as part of a wider suite of Building Services consulting services.

• Design and develop ICT / Smart Building solutions, including concept and detail design documentation, tender specifications, and assist in the evaluation and selection of tenders.

• Work with system vendors and suppliers to deliver solutions for new construction and upgrade projects.

• Provide site monitoring and supervision services during the installation and commissioning phases of projects involving ICT / Smart Building solutions.

• Provide ICT / Smart Buildings technology advice to clients (internal and external)

• Lead or support bid responses for ICT / Smart Building opportunities.

• Support Lead Consultant / Job Manager in the execution of project workstreams, capture and analyse user, business and operational requirement and to document end-to-end business process flow, identifying gaps and address potential risk.

• Assist in preparation of reports, schematics, design documents, specifications and proposals.

• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and training activities.

Key Requirements

• Degree in relevant technology or engineering specialisation (e.g. electronics engineering, ICT)

• 0-3 years’ experience delivering ICT / Smart Buildings / Electrical projects or any technological solutions.

• Understanding of any of the application of digital technologies in the built environment, including Smart systems, IoT, building system technologies, fibre optics or copper cabling system, wireless and wired networks, security and access control, Audio-Visual technologies, and systems integration.

• Strong oral and written communications skills

• Strong requirements elicitation and problem skills

• Attention to detail and provide high-quality deliverables.

• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, able to present and facilitate meetings and workshops.

• Ability to translate user requirements and analysis into technical requirements to meet objectives.

• Strong people skills in active listening and building trusting relationships

• Highly collaborative and self-starter, proactive in keeping key stakeholders up to date with progress with little managerial supervision required.
