Job Overview

We are seeking a T-shaped designer with a strong foundation in industrial design, a passion for innovation, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for conducting design research, product visualization, CAD modeling, rapid prototyping, 3D printing, and testing concepts. The ideal candidate is driven by innovation and skilled at transforming ideas into functional, visually compelling products across domains such as consumer goods, technology, medical devices, and packaging design. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our other in-house teams, contributing to social media storytelling, service design, and UI/UX to deliver cohesive and impactful design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Communicate design approaches clearly, from concept to execution.
• Conduct market research and translate insights into innovative design solutions.
• Apply original thinking to solve open-ended problems, from identifying root causes to delivering fresh and novel solutions.
• Use advanced visual communication skills to convey design intent through sketches, graphs, and photo-realistic images.
• Develop products from concept to final delivery, ensuring quality and innovation throughout the process.
• Hands on attitude to prototype and test concepts
• Leverage on AI-powered design and generative tools to rapidly visualize concepts, create mood boards, and communicate design directions to clients and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong proficiency in 3D printing and additive manufacturing for rapid prototyping and design exploration.
• Advanced visual communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling narratives around design concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered design and visualization tools for concept ideation, image generation, and presentation rendering.
• Proven experience in product development and design thinking methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Industrial Design.
• 1–2 years of relevant working experience preferred
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Tenacity to prototype and problem solve to reach desired project outcomes
• Strong proficiency in 3D printing and prototyping
• Knowledge in Rhino or equivalent CAD Software
• Familiarity with Keyshot, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator and AI design and generative tools
• Proficient in speaking and writing in English.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus (For liaising with our Mandarin speaking clients)
• Preference for Singapore based Designer
