Information Technology - Data Scientist (Internal Audit)

Job Description

You will be responsible for implementing and delivering the Internal Audit (IA) department's Digital roadmap, focusing on the Central Audit Analytics Platform (CAAP). You will drive IA's digital vision by leveraging technology, automation, and data analytics to enhance auditors' efficiency and effectiveness, and gain deeper insights. 

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture and Data Management
  
  
  
  • Develop architecture and key data pipelines for heterogenous datasets
  
  
  • Ensure solution architecture addresses IA's objectives and business needs
  
  
  • Design efficient solutions to meet initiative outcomes
  
  
  • Work with technical teams to build secure data pipelines
  
  
  
  

• Data Analysis and Problem Solving
  
  
  
  • Use data analytics for structured and unstructured data to identify patterns and anomalies and generate actionable insights to enhance risk and controls. 
  
  
  • Outline data lineage to trace sources of anomalies
  
  
  • Apply quantitative analysis methods for business decisions
  
  
  • Leverage data team's expertise to solve critical technical problems
  
  
  • Security and Compliance
  
  
  • Address data risks, including those related to PII (Personally Identifiable Information)
  
  
  • Ensure secure data handling throughout the pipeline•Business Decision Support
  
  
  
  

• Work closely with Internal Auditors to analyse large data sets, trends and results to drive data-driven operational risk decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 10+ years of data analytics experience


• A strong understanding of SAP data and experience in building analytical models using S/4 data will be a strong plus


• Proven expertise in data pipeline construction and data lake management, including SAP Data


• Data Analytics experience and building data pipelines for large and heterogenous (SAP and non-SAP) datasets


• Strong technical skills in relevant data analytics tools (Python, R etc) and AWS cloud platform


• Excellent communication skills


• Leverage of Gen AI to expedite the delivery of the solutions.

This is a contract role with a duration of 3 years.
