In-Store Visual Merchandiser (Retail Hours and Shifts)

The In-Store Visual Merchandiser operates in a fast-paced and creative environment where he/she conceptualizes eye-catching product displays, store layouts and designs in-store animation. The In-Store Visual Merchandiser is creative, detail-oriented and is effective working within tight deadlines. He/She is able to effectively prioritise multiple assignments and possesses an aesthetic flair.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow brand identity guidelines and instructions for window installation and in-store displays with the guidance of Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines
• Periodically responsible for window and in-store product rotations
• Making sure that the in-store displays are always in order and well organized
• To train store colleagues on basic VM knowledge to ensure display standards are maintained
• Support store openings and events set-up

Requirements

• 3 years experience in visual merchandising
• Previous fashion retail experience and/or supervisory skills preferred
• Visual competence with a keen eye for aesthetics
• Ability to generate new ideas and concepts
• Good communication skills and can-do attitude
• Thrives in fast-paced environment and takes initiative to drive results
• Computer proficient with knowledge and experience of using relevant software - Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
