Insurance Product Specialist

Job Responsibilities :

• Act as the insurance product specialist to oversee the operational procedure of insurance referral; bridge communications between the Bank and the insurance broker.
• Set up the platform of Policy Loan and, after launching, manage the communication with internal and external parties, such as the Front Office, Legal, Compliance, insurance company, and together with the Credit Analyst to put up the credit proposal for the Policy Loan.
• Formulate, review, and update the internal control and operational procedures to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with other departments in the Branch and/or the Head Office for any related reporting requirement.
• Preparation of response to the related queries from the external and internal auditors.
• Take up ad hoc assignment.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance/ Business Administration or any relevant discipline
• Min. 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Solid insurance operation knowledge, especially technical skills and product implementation experience.
• Exposure to insurance partnership development
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under stress and dynamic environment.
• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin as the role requires communication with Mandarin speaking colleagues in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
