Interior & Architectural Designer

Overview:

We are partnering with a project-based firm in the marine and construction interiors industry to hire a skilled Interior & Architectural Designer (Marine / Fit-Out Projects). This role focuses on producing technical and conceptual design deliverables for marine and architectural fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in design software and have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, design-build environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare construction drawings, design packages, and 3D/4D visualizations in line with project requirements and relevant regulatory standards.
• Develop graphic design materials or visual presentations as needed for client or internal use.
• Support senior designers in concept development and project execution.
• Coordinate with engineers, site teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design into execution.
• Ensure all design outputs are technically accurate and aligned with project goals.
• Contribute creatively to the development of new design concepts or layout solutions.
• Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and relevant authorities throughout various project phases.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior or architectural design, ideally in marine or commercial fit-out projects.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop (or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of architectural finishes, material selection, and fit-out detailingmarine experience is a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work well in multi-disciplinary project environments.
