Interior Designer

Job Responsibilities

• Good visualization, graphic and presentation skills.
• Develop and create attractive designs and layouts for various projects.
• Technical and product research & review with the design team.
• Meeting with the client, consultants, and contractors and making sure that the design intent is met.
• Discuss and propose design adhering to clients’ requirements and needs.
• Preparation of detailed drawings, design development, construction documents and project oversight.
• Prepare 2D/3D perspectives or sketches, design concept sketches, space planning, design development, elevation and detailed drawings for all phases of the process.

Job Requirements

You are passionate, creative, an achiever, highly self-motivated and an independent individual who is detailed oriented, possess strong skills in design concepts, perspective and project management good presentation skills; able to work in a team and independently, possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to perform under tight schedule and pressure.

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience.
• Skill proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Vector software (Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator), Photoshop, Sketchup or MS Office.
• Good knowledge of drawing preparation & organization; familiar with furniture/fabrics/lighting elements, construction materials, details methods & standards.
• Experience in commercial and residential design work projects will be an advantage.
• Able to converse with English and Chinese speaking clients, contractors and vendors to complete projects effectively.
• Local working experience needed.
