Job Description:

Studio XMSL is looking for an intermediate Interior designer. An ideal candidate would have at least 1 years of experience in Singapore in Interior design industry. The candidate would be highly driven and dedicated with excellent communication skills and a great attention to detail. To be successful in the role, the candidate should possess a team-oriented personality and at the same time, be able to work independently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects.
• To work on architectural and interior design proposals and presentations.
• Prepare design concept sketches, space planning, design development, elevation and detail drawings
• Monitoring design process from conception to construction administration to ensure consistency of design idea
• Involve in site measurement, layout plan & selection of material used
• Working closely with Principal Architect and Design Director throughout design development and implementation stages
• Project management - communication and coordination with client, consultants, etc.
• Preparing and producing construction documents and specifications
• In charge of the overall coordination of the project from design to completion

Requirements

Experience in commercial and residential design work projects will be an advantage;

• Candidates with 6 months training or internship experience in Relevant industry may apply .
• Min 1 year of working experience in Relevant industry.
• Required Skill(s): Hands-on CAD literacy essential (AutoCad), Space Planning, Designing, SketchUp
• Hands-on CAD literacy essential (AutoCad);
• Motivated and able to work independently
• Singaporeans only.
• Required language(s): English, Mandarin (In order to coordinate with the Mandarin-speaking clients & contractors)
