Job Description - Intermediary Distribution Associate (Sales Support), Regional Fund Management
A leading asset management firm is seeking a driven and commercially minded professional to join its Intermediary Distribution team in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior distribution leadership to support and grow the firm’s intermediary business across Singapore and the region. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving AUM growth, strengthening intermediary relationships, and supporting the distribution of the firm’s full suite of investment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Head of Intermediary Distribution and team members to help develop and execute sales strategies across assigned distribution channels
Drive AUM and revenue growth, increasing market penetration and visibility of the firm’s fund solutions
Build strong understanding of the firm’s investment strategies, process, and business model, and clearly articulate value propositions to intermediary clients
Prepare and deliver client-focused presentations, sales decks, and responses to client enquiries
Support priority client segments and focus efforts on the highest-opportunity accounts in line with business development goals
Represent the firm at client meetings, conferences, seminars, and roadshows when required
Maintain and manage client databases, sales collateral, and market intelligence
Stay well-informed of industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activity
Sales & Business Development Support
Ensure timely and accurate handling of incoming intermediary client enquiries
Assist with new account onboarding, including KYC and AML processes
Support ongoing servicing of existing clients and prospect potential new intermediary relationships
Assist with account mapping, sales planning, call programs, and sales reporting
Coordinate internally to support cross-selling opportunities and day-to-day sales operations
Contribute to sales reporting, feedback sharing, and ad-hoc projects as needed
Knowledge & Skills
Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Fluency in Mandarin is highly preferred; knowledge of a third Asian language is a plus
Confident presenter, able to engage audiences at different seniority levels
High integrity, strong attention to detail, and awareness of control and compliance standards
Self-motivated, resourceful, proactive, and a collaborative team player
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
3–5 years’ experience in a high-quality, multi-product investment or asset management firm
Proven experience supporting or selling complex investment products to intermediary clients and managing client relationships
