Job Description

• Conduct top-down industry analysis to identify structural trends and investment themes
• Develop deep fundamental research coverage within a chosen sector, such as commodities, quantum computing, or the space industry
• Build detailed financial models, valuation frameworks, and long-term investment cases
• Monitor global macroeconomic, technological, and regulatory developments impacting covered sectors
• Generate differentiated insights through primary research, data analysis, and independent thinking
• Present investment ideas and ongoing research to senior decision-makers
• Support portfolio construction through risk assessment and scenario analysis

The Successful Applicant

• Advanced academic training with a Master's or PhD in a relevant discipline
• Strong grounding in economics, finance, engineering, physics, or quantitative research
• Demonstrated passion for public markets and long-term equity investing
• Ability to think top-down while connecting industry trends to company fundamentals
• Strong analytical, modelling, and problem-solving capabilities
• Intellectual curiosity with the discipline to develop true sector expertise
• Clear written and verbal communication skills suitable for investment discussions
