Summary

The Investment Counsellor provides tailored investment advice to HNW/UHNW clients and partners closely with Relationship Managers to deliver portfolio strategies aligned with client goals and MAS regulations.

Responsibilities

• • Deliver customized multi-asset investment advice and portfolio construction aligned with client risk profiles and objectives.
  • Conduct portfolio reviews, provide rebalancing and market-driven recommendations.
  • Present investment views and strategies in joint client meetings with RMs.
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with MAS suitability and documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with CIO, product, and research teams to deliver investment ideas and solutions.
  • Support asset growth, advisory penetration, and client acquisition efforts.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or related field; CFA/CFP/CAIA preferred.
  • Min 6-7 years of investment advisory or portfolio management experience in private banking.
  • MAS licensing/CMFAS modules as required.
  • Strong market knowledge, analytical skills, and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Client-focused, detail-oriented, and strong collaboration skills.
