Investment Director

Location: Singapore

An established impact-focused investment firm is seeking an experienced Investment Director to lead investment activities across Asia. The firm invests in businesses addressing key social and environmental challenges across sectors including healthcare, education, sustainable food systems, climate and energy transition.

The successful candidate will play a key role across the full investment lifecycle, from deal origination and evaluation to transaction execution, portfolio management and exits.

1. Develop investment theses and identify attractive investment opportunities across target sectors.
2. Lead deal origination, due diligence, financial analysis, valuation, structuring and transaction execution.
3. Drive negotiations and present investment recommendations to Investment Committees and senior management.
4. Monitor portfolio performance and provide strategic and commercial guidance to portfolio companies.
5. Support portfolio value creation initiatives, board-level engagement and exit planning.
6. Build relationships with founders, co-investors, financial institutions and industry stakeholders.
7. Contribute to fundraising, investor relations and the development of the investment team.
8. Mentor junior investment professionals and provide leadership across investment projects.

1. Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, investment management, investment banking or related fields.
2. Strong track record in investment origination, due diligence, transaction execution and exits.
3. Experience in portfolio management, value creation and/or board representation.
4. Exposure to healthcare, education, food systems, climate or energy transition sectors is advantageous.
5. Fundraising experience and established investor and industry networks would be an advantage.
6. Experience with regulated fund management platforms is preferred.
7. Strong commercial acumen, leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
8. Genuine interest in impact investing and generating positive social and environmental outcomes.
