Investment Executive / Associate - Fast Hire

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

• Update and maintain Investment accounting schedules in fixed deposits, fixed Income, funds and other investments.
• Update monthly bank reconciliation and help in month-end accounts closing.
• To liaise with banks, fund managers and custodians on interest rates, Foreign Exchange swap and all banking transactions.
• Support the CIO and investment team in treasury/cash flow management – placing of fixed deposit, foreign exchange swap, investment payments, claims payment, management expenses and current account.
• Support the CIO in managing the AUM and ensure adherence to Investment Policy limits.
• Trade settlement for investment. Timely settlement of trades with banks and custodian.
• Investment compliance. To liaise with banks and other counter parties on KYC and updates of records.
• To review and provide documentation required for account onboarding and maintenance.
• Work with IT department and external developers in maintaining and developing investment accounting software.

Secondary Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the Finance and IT department in liaising with banks in the development of cash collection.
• Support the CIO in managing the equity portfolio. Participate in Investment meetings, result updates. Recommend equity investment ideas.
• Support for MAS regulatory reporting.
• Duties and Responsibilities from time to time as deemed appropriate by the management.

Requirement

• Basic degree preferable in Finance, Business Administration or Accountancy.
• One to two years’ experience preferred. Candidates with no prior experience may also be considered.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel and Portfolio Management administration and systems.
• Working Knowledge of Fund Administration, banking transaction process and procedure, investment products and valuation techniques.
• Team player committed and good communication skills.
• Knowledge of ESG Investment preferred but not essential.
