Investment Manager

Our client is seeking a Investment Manager (Value Investment Focus) to join their team. The Senior Investment Manager will lead the development and execution of value-driven investment strategies, conduct thorough financial analysis, and ensure disciplined, high-quality investment decision-making aligned with the firms objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a systematic investment process to enhance research quality and decision-making efficiency.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend core investment opportunities (pitching) grounded in value investing principles.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, due diligence, and valuation of potential investment targets.
• Monitor and manage the existing investment portfolio to optimize returns and manage risk exposures.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including risk management, compliance, and portfolio management to align investment strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts and associates to develop their investment research and analytical skills.
• Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to inform investment decisions.
• Present investment recommendations and performance updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Mid-level management experience at 3 or more leading local financial institutions, with a strong track record in investment strategy development and team leadership.
• Demonstrated expertise in value investing with well-established investment methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead or contribute significantly to the creation and refinement of investment processes or core target selection frameworks.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex investment ideas clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
