Investment Portfolio Analyst, Family Office

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Investment Analyst to support our investment activities of our Family office. The successful candidate will be responsible for portfolio performance reporting, investment operations, fund administration, data management, and process improvement initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with investment and operations teams while contributing to the efficiency and integrity of our investment platform.

1. Prepare monthly portfolio performance reports, including analysis of portfolio returns, risk metrics, attribution analysis, and benchmark comparisons.
2. Monitor and review the performance of the portfolio.
3. Analyze investment performance metrics to evaluate investment strategies.
4. Generate and present investment operations reports, including performance, risk, and compliance reporting.

1. Oversee fund accounting and administration processes, including Net Asset Value (NAV) preparation and review.
2. Perform reconciliation of cash balances and portfolio positions against bank and custodian statements.
3. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of portfolio data across reporting and operational systems.
4. Manage and maintain portfolio management systems and related operational infrastructure.

1. Ensure robust database management practices and effective risk management controls are maintained.
2. Monitor operational processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
3. Support the implementation and maintenance of operational controls and governance frameworks.

1. Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process enhancements across investment operations and reporting workflows.
2. Implement improvements to strengthen operational controls, reporting quality, and overall efficiency.
3. Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

1. Support ad hoc operational, reporting, and investment-related projects as required.

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
2. 3 - 5 years of experience in investment operations, portfolio reporting, fund administration, performance measurement, or a related field.
3. Strong understanding of portfolio performance measurement, fund accounting, and investment operations processes.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
5. Familiarity with portfolio management systems, investment reporting platforms, and database management tools is an advantage.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
7. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
