Investment Specialist

Your goal is to design, build and offer a structured, financial literacy ecosystem, with the aim of implementing this regionally. You will be the bridge between complex market data and the retail investor, delivering impact through offline coaching, in-app learning, while integrating app features and familiarisation. We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic working environment, is passionate about trading, the financial markets and elevating the financial literacy of our community.

What We Are Looking For

1. Financial Expertise and Strong Market Acumen: Have the passion and deep understanding of the basics of investment, trading, different asset classes and financial products (e.g. Options, ETFs, Funds) and personal finance.
2. Educational Mindset and Strong Communication Skills: Proven ability to simplify complex financial concepts and jargon into a digestible and easy to understand content for beginners and mass retail
3. Content Creation: Skilled in developing structured learning paths, training scripts and reusable templates
4. Team Player with strong stakeholder management: Ability to collaborate within Investment research and education team and also with the greater company as whole.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver Regional Financial Literacy Workshops & Seminars
1. Providing financial literacy training to elevate financial and investment knowledge across SG & MY.
2. Conduct workshops at both our physical stores and at industry related events on money-mindset, risk assessment, key investment frameworks (diversification, factor investing, etc.) and personal / lifestyle finance.
3. Develop a comprehensive "Investing 101" curriculum, by means of modular content, including decks, scripts, and worksheets, and maintaining this internal database of reusable templates for different segments of clients
4. Promote US and Homemarket (SG/MY) as growth engines for investment opportunities
2. Translating Investment Research into Actionable Insights
1. Bridge insights between institutional grade research into clear, practical investing actions for different client segments.
2. Convert macro insights into trading and investing guides and investor-friendly summaries.
3. Support regional campaigns tied to economic data, earnings seasons, and thematic cycles with easy-to-follow learning points.
3. Internal Enablement & Content Standardization
1. Be the internal education content partner for Marketing, Partnerships, PR, Community, and Content teams.
2. Standardize beginner education assets across SG/MY to ensure brand and educational consistency.
3. Ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and user-centric clarity of content across all educational outputs
4. Contribute to the overall objectives of the investment research and education team
1. Conduct and host webinars for industry partners and locally registered listcos (SG focus)
2. Required to attend and support relevant industry and media events
3. Ensure timeliness and follow up on tasks as assigned (e.g. Earning season)
4. Represent moomoo to engage the media (Mandarin and English speaking) through interviews

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in the financial markets and/or securities industries.

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance and/or Economics, or a related field is essential. Professional accreditations such as CFA, CMT or equivalent would be desired.
• Sound knowledge of different financial products and asset classes and possess CMFAS certification (RES1A/RES1B, RES2B, RES5, CM-EIP, CM-SIP, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, HI)
• English speaking and Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage
• Have experience with trading and investing platforms such as Moomoo’s app, TradingView and Bloomberg Terminal is a must
