IT Cybersecurity Specialist

Primary Objective

Operation role in fulfilment of internal and LTA routine reporting and cybersecurity tasks

Major Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain security plans / policies
• Respond to monitoring alerts by interfacing with users to advise on the alarm situation, investigate the problem and determine the optimal solutions.
• Implement and maintain cyber security solutions relating to detection, prevention and analysis of security threats
• Conduct awareness training on cyber security standards, policies and best practices
• Carry out the monitoring of systems for security anomalies and the detection of breaches
• Perform cyber security audits and risk assessments to recommend the implementation of risk mitigation measures
• Liaison with authorities on compliance matters
• Lead incident response, including steps to minimize the impact, conducting technical and forensic investigation and the extent of the damage

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or its equivalents
• 3 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls and content filtering
• Knowledge of risk and vulnerability assessment tools, technologies and methods
• Experience in designing secure networks, systems and application architectures
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods
• Technical knowledge of database and operating system security
• Familiarity with web related technologies (e.g. web application and web services) and network web related protocols
• Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
