IT Engineer (Based in Tuas)

Kuok (Singapore) Limited is looking for a IT Engineer to join one of our Business Units – PaxOcean Singapore Pte Ltd (Based in Tuas). 

Working Location: 33 Tuas Crescent

Position Summary

The role is to ensure the delivery of efficient end user support services in alignment with the business objectives. The person will provide technical expertise and undertake to the outsourced vendors on the on-going operation support on IT infrastructure, End User Computing and meeting room facilities covering IT asset management, service request management, service transition, incident management, change management, process improvement.

Tasks and Responsibility

• Operation Efficiency: Ensuring the secure and efficient operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, software, and IT infrastructure can support business operation and growth.

• ITSM Responsibility: Ensure that IT operations activities are tracked in ITSM Platform which include and not limited to Incident, Change, Problem, Configuration Management. Responsible for IT hardware and software asset lifecycle management, Inventory Management, Software Package Distribution, Software/System Patching, Version Upgrade, and Software License Review.

• Project Execution: To support business initiatives and Group IT workplans.

• Documentation: Review and update IT Standard Operating Procedures and enhancing existing workflow.

• Infrastructure and Facility: Assist Group IT in ensuring IT Infrastructure which include and not limited to servers and network equipment is reliable to support the business operation.

• Technology Updates: Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in the IT Industry.

• Min Diploma in Computer Sciences or Information Technology

• 5 years of relevant experience in executing IT operations and Service Delivery

• Relevant experience in providing support to complete IT Audit cycle

• ITIL certified in IT Service Management or Service Delivery

• Other IT certifications are a bonus
