IT Operations Lead/Manager - Dorothy M.

In light of business expansion, our multinational Technology client is in search of an IT Operations Lead/Manager to ensure the timely delivery and smooth operation of IT infrastructure and systems. This role presents an opportunity to lead innovative initiatives within a highly collaborative and agile team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily operations of the IT team, including resource management and fostering continuous improvement.
• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of IT infrastructure, encompassing servers, networks, storage, and security systems.
• Provide recommendations for enhancing and expanding IT infrastructures, systems, and products to address organizational challenges with customized solutions.
• Implement robust measures to protect the network, systems, and data, enforcing IT security policies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, deploy projects, and optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Conduct regular reviews of the organization's IT assets inventory, including tracking and disposal.
• Manage IT infrastructure projects within established budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Supervise IT infrastructure vendors and project/maintenance service contracts, liaising with service providers to enhance quality.
• Ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures, aligning with company policies and standards.

Key Requirements 

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• 8 years of experience in IT Operations management.
• Experience in Microsoft Infrastructure system (Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, Azure AD) 
• Demonstrated experience in leading IT teams.
• Experience with IT service management tools and methodologies (ITIL, ITSM preferred).
• Experiences in Project Management, Change Management and Vendor Management
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously 
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with users and vendors
