IT Project Manager (PMO / Project Delivery)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing the project lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on PMO responsibilities, including tender processes, vendor management, and project execution.

• Job Type: Contract
• Salary Package: Up to $7500 (basic) x 12 months

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end tender process, including drafting requirements, evaluating proposals, and participating in evaluation committees to ensure fair and effective vendor selection.
• Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are clearly defined and met.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and faculty to align project priorities with institutional goals.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose adjustments to ensure successful execution.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Support change management by facilitating training sessions, addressing stakeholder concerns, and ensuring smooth transitions during implementation.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and project updates for stakeholders.
• Post-implementation, manage support processes and oversee vendor performance to address long-term operational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, IT, Business Management, or a related field.
• At least5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on PMO tasks.
• Experience in the tertiary education sector or implementing student management systems is advantageous.
• Proven ability to deliver large-scale COTS solutions and manage diverse internal and  external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities to support a PMO-driven environment.
