YOUR ROLE 

As a Mask Technology Engineer, your job purpose is to:

Prepare photomask designs that meet IC design requirements, equipment & process specifications. Translate customer needs into robust photomasks optimized for wafer manufacturing.

You will be involved in:

• Perform photomask data preparation using commercial CAD/EDA and in-house software in Linux (e.g., GDSReticle, Cadence, Synopsys, MentorGraphics).


• Extract photomasking data and generate reports to support downstream process automation.


• Collaborate closely with experienced engineers from various departments to contribute to technical projects.


• Engage in quality assurance and verification processes to ensure data accuracy.


• Maintain documentation of data preparation processes and methodologies.


• Identify opportunities for process improvements and learn best practices for efficiency enhancement.


• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to photomask data preparation.


• Work collaboratively with photomask vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of photomasks.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Science (knowledge of engineering fundamental)


• On the job training will be provided


• Fast learner, team player & multi-tasking


• Experience in CAD layout drawing, floorplan & Unix will be added advantage
