Java Developer, Manager, Technology Consulting

• Lead and manage a team of Java developers across the software development lifecycle


• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance Java applications


• Drive technical architecture discussions and solution design decisions


• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams


• Review code quality, enforce best practices, and ensure coding standards are maintained


• Mentor and coach junior developers and support career development within the team


• Manage project timelines, risks, and resource planning to ensure successful delivery


• Participate in client discussions, requirement gathering, and technical estimations


• Support CI/CD implementation, system integration, and cloud deployment initiatives


• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide production support when required

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field


• Minimally 6 years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java


• Prior experience leading or managing development teams

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
  
  
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  
  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  
  
  
  

Ideally, you’ll also have 

• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker/Kubernetes


• Exposure to Kafka, Redis, or event-driven architecture


• Knowledge of frontend technologies is a plus


• Consulting or client-facing experience preferred


• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities


• Solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills


• Ability to balance hands-on technical work with people management


• Proactive and adaptable in dynamic environments
