Job Summary:
Join a software engineering team where you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software systems. You will be working both independently and collaboratively with other software and systems engineers. Be committed to delivering quality systems while overcoming project development challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end application development, from requirements analysis to deployment.
- Address performance and security needs within applications.
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate software components and third-party systems.
- Identify and rectify defects alongside system testers.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Produce comprehensive documentation and artefacts.
- Assist in pre-sales activities including solution proposals and product demos.
- Provide technical support during system maintenance.
- Design and develop APIs within a microservice architecture.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
- Completed at least one full software development life cycle.
- Proficiency in Java, web services, OOP, and design patterns.
- Experience in data modelling and database design.
- Strong skills in code versioning tools like GIT.
- Excellent team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Big Data, OLAP, and microservices is advantageous.
- Familiarity with databases (Oracle/MSSQL, MongoDB), fault management systems, and BI tools.
- Understanding of cloud deployment, data analytics, and algorithms.
- Experience with Spring Boot and Agile Scrum practices is a plus.
- Background in the Traffic Management domain is beneficial.
- Strong academic background and passion for software development preferred.
