EY DnA is the data and advanced analytics capability within EY Asia-Pacific, with over 500 specialist employees working across multiple industry sectors.

We implement information-driven strategies, data platforms and advanced data analytics solution systems that help grow, optimize and protect client organizations. We go beyond strategy and provide end to end design, build and implementation of real-life data environments and have some of the best architects, project managers, business analysts, data scientists, big data engineers, developers and consultants in the region.

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Technical Lead (Senior Associate) to design, build, and deliver enterprise-scale AI solutions on cloud platforms. You will play a key role in developing AI applications, integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), and driving AI innovation while ensuring compliance with governance, security, and enterprise architecture standards.

Working closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, data engineers, and cloud teams, you will lead the technical implementation of AI-powered solutions across a variety of industry sectors.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions on Azure Cloud Infrastructure, particularly within Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments.


• Develop and maintain scalable AI applications leveraging LLMs, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.


• Design and implement AI workflows using LangGraph, orchestration frameworks, and multi-agent systems.


• Build and optimize integrations with Vector Databases for semantic search and knowledge retrieval.


• Develop backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.


• Integrate AI models and services from platforms such as Azure OpenAI and other enterprise AI ecosystems.


• Implement secure and scalable AI solutions in accordance with enterprise security standards and cloud governance requirements.


• Ensure AI applications comply with organizational AI governance frameworks, risk controls, and responsible AI practices.


• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and architecture teams to implement authentication, authorization, and security integrations.


• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and guidance to junior AI engineers and developers.


• Support solution architecture, technical design workshops, and client engagements.


• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise AI application development.


• Deep understanding of cloud-native AI architectures and modern software engineering practices.


• Experience building scalable and secure AI applications in regulated environments.


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.


• Ability to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• 4–7 years of software engineering or AI engineering experience.


• Strong proficiency in Python development.


• Experience building APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks.


• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services, preferably within GCC environments.


• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI application development.


• Experience implementing LangGraph or similar AI orchestration frameworks.


• Experience working with Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, ChromaDB, Azure AI Search).


• Strong understanding of RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and AI application design patterns.


• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems and services.


• Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI principles, and AI risk management.


• Understanding of cloud security, identity management, and security integration patterns.


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• Experience delivering AI solutions in government or highly regulated environments.


• Knowledge of Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and Azure Machine Learning.


• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.


• Understanding of IM8, government cloud security requirements, and compliance frameworks.


• Experience leading technical teams or mentoring engineers.


• Relevant cloud certifications such as Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure Developer Associate.
