Junior Space Planner & Visualiser (Carpet & Flooring)

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative Junior Space Planner & Visualizer to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical precision and visual storytelling. You will be responsible for accurately analysing floor plans to calculate exact carpet quantities for project tenders, while also creating beautiful, realistic2D and 3D renderings to help our clients visualize their finished spaces.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior professional or fresh graduate looking to build a career in commercial interior design support and project estimation.

Key Responsibilities:

Quantity Estimation - Analyse architectural floor plans and blueprints to calculate accurate carpet and flooring material quantities required for project bidding and installation.

CAD Drafting - Use AutoCAD to modify, scale, and organize floor plan layouts according to project specifications.

3D Visuals & Rendering - Utilise SketchUp (or equivalent rendering software) to create clean, professional floorplan renderings and 3D visualizations for client presentations.

Team Collaboration - Assist the sales and project management teams by preparing accurate technical documentation and visual assets ahead of client deadlines.

Requirements:

* Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Built Environment, or a related field.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is mandatory.

* Strong mathematical and spatial awareness skills for accurate material takeoff and scale calculations.

* Excellent attention to detail —accuracy in quantity calculation is critical to our project success.

* A portfolio demonstrating clean drafting skills and 3D rendering capabilities.

* Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points If You Have:

* Experience or capability in drawing realistic room scenes specifically for carpet layouts or textile applications.

* Familiarity with other rendering engines
