KDB+ Developer | Electronic FX Trading | Singapore

I’m partnering with a leading Consultingservices firm hiring multiple KDB+ Developers / Data Platform Engineers for its growing Capital Markets technology team in Singapore.

You’ll work on a high-priority electronic FX trading project, building real-time market data, analytics and low-latency trading solutions. This is a hands-on development role offering direct exposure to traders, quantitative analysts and global technology teams.

1. Build and enhance KDB+/q solutions for electronic FX trading
2. Develop real-time and historical market data pipelines
3. Design scalable data models and optimise platform performance
4. Integrate KDB+ with Python and surrounding trading systems
5. Work closely with traders and quants on analytics requirements
6. Contribute to platform enhancements and technical design

1. Around 3–5 years of professional development experience
2. Strong hands-on KDB+/q development skills
3. Proficiency in Python
4. Experience with real-time market data or time-series platforms
5. Strong knowledge of qSQL and KDB+ data structures
6. Experience working in Linux environments
7. Strong communication and problem-solving skills

1. Electronic FX or wider Capital Markets experience
2. Exposure to FX spot, forwards or options
3. Experience with RDB/HDB architectures, IPC or tick data
4. Knowledge of low-latency trading systems
5. Experience supporting quantitative analytics
