Job Description - Key Account Manager

Our client is a leading industrial distributor and supply chain solutions provider specializing in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products and services across Asia. With operations in markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and China, the company combines regional scale with strong local expertise to deliver integrated solutions including vendor-managed inventory, digital procurement, safety audits, and on-site services.

We are looking for an exceptional individual who will lead the account management for existing accounts assigned.

The Challenges

  • Drive revenue and margin growth within customer accounts by meeting and exceeding business measures, including EBIT and working capital.
  • Develop and implement Key Account Management Plans that improve both short-term and long-term financial performance.
  • Oversee and monitor customer service agreements to ensure all contractual KPIs (such as cost savings obligations) are achieved or exceeded.
  • Manage smooth daily operations, including updated pricing structures for assigned customer accounts.
  • Monitor programs, analyze data and trends, and conduct regular performance and business reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Identify and secure new opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold the organizations brand reputation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal sales policies and procedures.

What It Takes

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record in key account management, delivering exceptional supply chain consultation and customer service.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and solve complex problems.
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to foster effective cross-team partnerships.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
