Kitchen Crew

As the Kitchen Crew of the Company, you shall willingly and diligently carry out the duties assigned to you from time to time, including but not limited to the following: 

1. Prepare and cook food for all customers according to standard operating procedures.
2. Preparation work (mise en place) should always be sufficient during operational hours
3. Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic at all times
4. Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
5. Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
6. Ensure quality control and food presentation as per standard company procedures 
7. Preparing of guests’ orders in a timely manner
8. Monitor usage of equipment and utensils to prevent damage and to ensure the equipment are maintained regularly to prolong the life span
9. Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare all food items listed on the menu
10. Disposing of rubbish and disposing refuse on a regular basis
11. Ensure opening and closing procedures are adhered to
12. Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
13. Participate in monthly physical stock take of all food item ingredients in the Kitchen
14. Involved in research and development with manager to create new menu 
15. Assist manager to control wastage of food and maintain healthy levels of inventory in kitchen 
16. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
