KYC Checker Onboarding - Corporate Banking

Key Responsibilities

1. Review and approve KYC documentation for new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
2. Assess client risk profiles, identify AML/CTF and financial crime risks, and escalate material issues where required.
3. Handle complex onboarding cases involving PEPs, high-risk entities, trusts, financial institutions, and complex ownership structures.
4. Interpret and apply KYC policies and regulatory requirements across APAC and Middle East jurisdictions.
5. Investigate discrepancies, resolve documentation issues, and maintain complete audit-ready records.
6. Partner closely with Business, Compliance, Legal and other internal stakeholders to support timely client onboarding and periodic reviews.
7. Provide KYC guidance to business stakeholders and contribute to process improvements and control enhancements.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance or a related discipline. ACAMS, ICA or equivalent certification is an advantage.
2. Minimum 5 years' experience in KYC, AML or Financial Crime Compliance within the financial services industry.
3. Strong experience reviewing and approving complex KYC cases across corporate, financial institution and trust clients.
4. Good understanding of AML/CTF regulations and KYC requirements across APAC and Middle East markets.
5. Strong analytical, risk assessment and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
6. Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
7. Strong stakeholder management, communication and documentation skills.
8. Proficient in KYC/AML systems and client onboarding platforms.
