Lab Manager/ Assistant Lab Manager (Precious Metals, ICP)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the laboratory, and conduct scientific analyses of the precious metals content.
• Oversee the setup of laboratories.
• Maintain hygienic procedures of the laboratory.
• In-charge with ensuring the maintenance analytical and laboratory equipment.
• Provide team members instructions on preparation of conducting test precious metals.
• Establish the company's standard operating procedures for analysis and testing.
• Oversee the development of testing and analytical techniques for the testing and refining of gold and silver.
• Work closely with the business team and other team members.
• Taking part in the hiring process and retaining of lab staffs.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in laboratory management.
• Prior experience with ICP & XRF and at least 3 years of experience performing ICP & XRF.
• Have expertise in gold and silver detection and recovery and refining technology is advantageous.
