Laboratory Technologist / Analytical Chemist

Job Description

• Perform laboratory testing, sampling and chemical analysis on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
• Carry out QC testing according to SOP, work instructions and safety requirements.
• Prepare samples, chemicals, reagents and laboratory equipment for analysis.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Record, review and report test results accurately.
• Support product quality checks, documentation and laboratory housekeeping.
• Report abnormal results, quality issues or equipment problems to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, quality and company procedures.

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma / Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Process, Science, Biotechnology, Food Science or related field.
• Experience in laboratory testing, QC testing, chemical analysis or sampling will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment, wet chemistry, titration or analytical instruments is preferred.
• Candidates from chemical, pharmaceutical, food, polymer or manufacturing background are welcome.
• Fresh graduates may be considered for junior openings.
• Able to follow SOP, safety and documentation requirements.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
