Job Description - Lead, Change Management (SAP)

Our client is a holding company with the task of implementing a common and consolidated platform to manage financial transactions, reporting, internal cost controls and materials management across its group of companies. The Change Management Lead (together with Business Change Leads), will play a crucial leadership role during this implementation phase.

Reporting into the Business Transformation Lead, the successful candidate will :
  1. Lead the change team to understand the impediments for change at user level and create a change strategy and plan that addresses these pain points.
  2. Develop change program quantitative and qualitative outcomes to measure success of implementing change.
  3. Create awareness of change at program, business and user level
  4. Build a compelling case and benefit for change and “what is it in for me” for users on the ground to engage users.
  5. Conduct training needs analysis with capability development and training team, tailoring training strategies, and lead the execution of training programs to ensure user readiness and operational continuity.
  6. Establish and lead a change network of business users to understand concerns on the ground and communicate the case of change and how to change.
  7. Gather user feedback and ensure the voice of users are heard at the program level and taken into consideration during decision making.
  8. Adjust change strategy and plan to meet change outcomes.
  9. Lead stakeholder management in ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations on change.
  10. Provide regular project updates and reports to Executive Committee, the Finance Committee and senior management.
  1. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Required Experience and Qualifications :

  1. Minimum 15 years’ experience of leading change programs and demonstrated leadership in delivering large-scale and complex business/tech transformations across multiple business entities.
  2. Experience with change programs for SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformations and SAP Central Finance implementations is a plus.
  3. Change Management certified (PROSCI Certified Change Practitioner/ Certified Change Management Professional)
  4. Strong understanding of human behaviour and change dynamics, with the ability to anticipate resistance and guide users through transformation.
  5. Strong Stakeholder Engagement with C-Suite & Business Units, with the ability to influence and drive alignment and secure buy-in across diverse stakeholders and entities
  6. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex environments.
