Lead Engineer-Water Solutions / Testing & Commissioning

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer-Water Solutions / Testing & Commissioning to lead the testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of Ultra Pure Water (UPW) systems for high purity applications in semiconductor and advanced manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute commissioning procedures, test plans, and protocols for UPW systems

• Perform pre-commissioning activities (flushing, hydrotesting, leak testing, chemical cleaning)

• Conduct functional testing for systems including RO, EDI, ion exchange, UV, degasification, and ultrafiltration

• Validate system performance against design specifications and client requirements

• Troubleshoot issues and support system start-up and handover

• Prepare commissioning documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering

• At least 10 to 15 years of experience in UPW systems or advanced water treatment

• Hands-on commissioning experience for large-scale UPW plants

• Strong knowledge of RO, EDI, mixed bed, and polishing loop systems

• Familiar with SEMI standards and high-purity system design

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in semiconductor fab utilities (UPW, WWT, reclaim)

• Knowledge of water quality parameters (TOC, resistivity, conductivity, silica)

• Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems

• Ability to read P&IDs and engineering drawings
