Lead, Finance Operations (3 years | AWS/VB)

Job Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Operations Management:

• Supervise a team to ensure smooth operational workflows aligned with company objectives.
• Maintain a strong internal control framework.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including bank reconciliations and account analysis.
• Continuously refine processes to enhance productivity and ensure compliance.

Change Management:

• Drive changes in Finance Operations processes to align with evolving business requirements.
• Stay updated on technological advancements in AR/AP systems and evaluate their business relevance.
• Implement best practices for AR/AP processes.

Abnormality Investigations:

• Analyze anomalies detected by Data Analytics and report investigation findings.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

• Work with auditors, bankers, internal divisions, and vendors on payment-related matters.

Project Management:

• Lead process simplification and implement standardized, scalable processes.
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of technology-driven initiatives (e.g., Robotic Process Automation, Data Analytics).
• Support the development, migration, and enhancement of source and finance systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Accounting, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant commercial experience, including leading teams of 4 or more.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with major accounting software (e.g., SAP, Workday).
• Experience in system implementation and UAT.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Solid understanding of GST and Withholding Tax.
• Audit experience is an added advantage.
