Lead Footwear Merchandiser

Roles and Responsibilities: 
● Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies. 
● Product Line Planning: develop merchandising strategies that align with Sunrise’s brand and business objectives.
 ● Assortment Management: Create and manage product assortments, ensuring a balanced and compelling range of footwear offerings.
 ● Sales Forecasting: Analyse sales data and market trends to forecast product demand and optimise inventory levels.
 ● Visual Merchandising: Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation in retail environments. 
● Collaborate with the design team to ensure footwear aesthetics match the market trends
 ● Product Launches: Coordinate and support product launches, ensuring timely delivery and effective marketing support. 
● Performance Analysis: Monitor product performance and provide actionable insights to improve future assortments and merchandising strategies.
 ● Consumer Engagement: Engage with sales teams and consumers to gather feedback and insights, helping to inform product development and marketing efforts.

Requirements: 
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or a related field. 
● Experience: 5+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably within the footwear or fashion industry. 
● Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market research to make informed decisions.
 ● Market Insight: Deep understanding of market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity in the footwear industry.
 ● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively. 
● Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
